I absolutely love Thanksgiving in NYC. Every year is something different. My first year in New York I made a bowl of my mom's stuffing and took it to a potluck at a Columbia University dorm room. Another year,
Lekkercraft,
GuerrillaStylist, and I hosted a 'dipping' themed dinner and had Cru d'ete, Cheese and Chocolate fondues. It was really the best, except for the fact that by the end of the night i'd lost the battle with my lactose intolerence and spent the rest of the night curled in a ball on my bed. Anywho. Thanksgiving in new york is always about doing something different, at least for me it is. Last year, i went to Pennsylvania and spent it with a friend's family and danced around to classic rock drunk on homemade Lemoncello. Oh fun times!
This year,
GuerrillaStylist and I happened to be the only ones left in NYC and decided to save our cash and have a restaurant feed us. We chose Flea Market Cafe, a cute little French bistro in the East Village. The restaurant and the city were EMPTY! It was really strange, but really nice and cold, and the dinner was YUMMY! just take a look!

Um, yeah that's Foie Gras. and I ate GuerrillaStylist's too! For dessert, we had pecan pie and chocolate (not so good) pudding. The heart atop it didn't help but the effort was definately appreciated.

So after dinner, we went to see Australia. I ended up diving into the movie (despite one of the actor's stonewall expressions) and bawling my eyes out. GuerrillaStylist had other opinions. After the movie, weslylysnuckintoseetwilightagain. dum dee dum.
What!??
Edward is HOT!
Happy Thanksgiving.
