First, I found an hombre selling yukis 3 blocks from my apartment. Yukis (or Raspados) are Mexican snow cones. I have not had one in years so I was very excited to start my day with un yuki de tamarindo. Now if i find a place that sells
nieve de garrafa, I will be one happy chica!
Next, I saw this while walking around the neighborhood.
And behind The "Free Willie" Nelson, there were 'things' on the sidewalk with a FREE sign next to them... and this beauty just lying there for me to take home. It works really good too!
