She's back!
Ladies and gentleman, your hostess is back. well, almost. I'm sitting in the Pittsburgh airport waiting for my flight back to new york city. In the last week and change I've been in 3 countries, 5 different airports, and 2 trains. I've had the most amazing time and I'm gathering all the photos to tell you all about my trip!
Before I left NYC, I loaded up my iPod with tunes for my trip, but ended up only listening to Jason Mraz on the flight and trains and to lull me to sleep. I am so excited to tell you all about all the new things i experienced and the food i had, and the friends i saw, and the bouquet i caught! in the meantime, watch this video. this is how i felt my entire trip and still do (even though completely sleep deprived and smelly.)

meet me at 3rd and fairfax
Last week I visited Los Angeles for the weekend to attend my friend Lauren's wedding. I was able to see some old friends, interview the editor or Make/Shift Magazine, hang out with an old NY friend in a different setting, and make new friends. Oh, I also got to spend time with my pops and have some damn good Mexican food at Casa del Rey, a restaurant my family's been going to since I was a child. Unfortunately, I did not make it to the beach, but, I did get to the Farmers Market
and have myself a donut.
It was wonderful driving around town in a white KIA and visiting old haunts like the Hotel Cafe and seeing friends I haven't seen in years. I miss LA very much and this little three day jaunt was not long enough. Every time I go, I come back to New York wanting to move back. How does your hostess become bi-coastal? Can't someone pick up this little show and put it into syndication? xx
